COMMERCE CITY -
Weather permitting, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) planned prescribed burning activities on the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge Saturday, March 26th. The FWS planned to burn up to 149 acres on unit 4c. The burns will be conducted between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Smoke could have been visible for several miles from the perimeter of the Refuge and people in the area may have smelled smoke.
