Pending conditions, firefighters on Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger District will continue prescribed fire operations to reduce fuels from previous management operations.
Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger District:
Firefighters accomplished 50 acres yesterday on the Clear Creek units and will continue prescribed fire operations today. The 50-acre unit is located 6 miles west of Thompson Falls. Minimal smoke impacts are anticipated; however, smoke may be visible from may be visible from Thompson Falls.
