Firefighters building control lines, protecting structures
To the east and south of the fire footprint, the fire team is using heavy equipment and hand crews building a series of containment lines based on roads and ridges. On the west flank, crews are reopening a containment line down to the river previously used to suppress the Big Windy Fire. Fire continues to flank east and west below Grave Creek.
