There is a temporary area closure in place on the Willamette National Forest that includes all of the Waldo Lake Wilderness area and surrounding areas around the Cedar Creek Fire. This includes trailheads and dispersed camping south, west and north of Waldo Lake. The lake itself, east side campgrounds campgrounds and trails (including the Pacific Crest Trail) remain open with the exception of Blair Lake, Gold Beach Boat Launch and Fuji Shelter. A Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) is in place in a ten-mile radius around the fire.
