Luccah Fire Update: January 29, 1030 hours
Location: Goliad County, west of Fannin along Hwy 59
Acreage: Estimated 2000 acres
Containment: 90%

Dozer and engine crews worked late into the night yesterday and made excellent progress. The Luccah Fire is currently 90% contained. Ground crews have returned to fire this morning. TAMFS dozer crews continue to construct and improve containment line. Fire activity is minimal with some smoldering heavy vegetation in the interior of the fire perimeter. Crews will patrol the fire today to gain better visualization and address any areas of concern.  

Weather: Today will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the 60s. Winds will be light out of the southwest, increasing to 10mph this afternoon. Relative humidity is expected to decrease to 21% today.
