At 2:30 pm, Texas A&M Forest Service received a request for assistance with a fire directly southeast of Mineral Wels, TX. Resources from the local office quickly responded and begin suppression actions along side fire departments from Palo Pinto and Parker counties. Firefighting aircraft were used to knock down the head and dozers constructed line around the perimeter of the fire.
