OtherThe Hippy Ridge Fire started around 3:00 pm near Boonsville Texas. Local fire departments quickly arrived on scene and began work to contain the fire. Texas A&M Forest Service assistance was requested at 5:00 pm to bring heavy equipment and aerial resources to assist with suppression. Wise County is currently under a red flag warning until 9:00 pm this evening, high winds and low humidity will continue in to tonight before recovering.
