On Wednesday afternoon March 19, 2025, Texas A&M Forest Service received a request for assistance for a wildfire in San Jacinto County. 

There are currently no evacuations for San Jacinto or Montgomery County. For San Jacinto County, residents can learn how to sign up for emergency notifications by visiting, https://www.co.san-jacinto.tx.us/page/sanjacinto.Emergency . For Montgomery County, residents can sign up by visiting, https://www.mctx.org/departments/departments_q_-_z/recover/alert_mctx.php .

Evacuation Shelter is located at 255 Live Oak, Cold Springs, TX.

If you need a safe place for your livestock, Caney Creek Cowboy Church is accepting displaced animals. Location: 17703 Nonesuch Rd., Conroe, TX 77306
