Outlook
Projected Incident Activity

Crews will continue to monitor the fire throughout the day and mop up any hot spots that persist.

Remarks

The fire did go to 100% containment March 23rd, but the local resources requested TAMFS to come back out the next day due to interior hot spots flaring up. Crews mitigated that heat and on March 25th,
containment went back to 100%. TAMFS received a request for assistance around 3:00 pm on March 29th because the fire had blown out of the containment lines. Decrease in containment is due to the extreme behavior observed today and red flag warning conditions that will likely continue through tomorrow.

Current Weather
Weather Concerns

Morning temperatures of 41 degrees, a RH value of 87%, and calm wind. Winds overall today are expected to stay less than 10 mph out of the north to northwest. Minimum RH values will drop to near 20%. Tonight winds will begin to shift to the south but should stay below 10 mph. RH values will recover into the mid 70s. Fire weather concerns increase for Friday as winds become gusty out of the south to southeast and RH values once again drop to near 20%.
