Airplane Lake Fire Update - Sept. 27, 2023
The Remote Automated Weather Station near the 6,956-acre Airplane Lake Fire received 1.35 inches of rain recently, and the fire likely received more than that. At this point in time, it is very unlikely that the fire will have any significant growth. Smoke from smoldering fuels will continue to be observed until snowfall. Trail and area closures will remain in place for now.
