Team 4 sincerely thanks the local communities and partner agencies for their unwavering support, cooperation, and collaboration throughout the Cody Fire response. As the local unit prepares to assume command, continued community support will remain vital to the ongoing success of the dedicated firefighters, crews, and personnel working to reach full containment.

Fire Activity: Crews have completed a total of 859 structure assessments in the community of Oracle, marking the completion of these efforts for areas impacted by the Cody Fire. These assessments are a critical component of the post-fire recovery process, ensuring both public safety and infrastructure accountability.

Today, suppression repair operations will focus on landscape rehabilitation, including the repair and stabilization of bulldozer lines used during initial attack and containment efforts. Crews will also address areas along the Arizona Trail affected by firefighting activities, working to mitigate erosion and reduce future environmental impacts.

Evacuations: No evacuations are in effect at this time.

Weather: Temperatures will continue in the low 90s with single digit humidity and winds from 10-15mph with gusts up to 28mph.

Safety: Incident responders and utility crew traffic continue across the fire area. As a reminder, the public is encouraged to avoid fire-affected areas to allow incident personnel and utility crews to complete their work.

Road Closures: No roads are currently closed.

Fire Restrictions and Closures: Closures are in effect and Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are issued for the Coronado National Forest, which includes recreational shooting (https://www.fs.usda.gov/r03/coronado/alerts).
