2023 Six Rivers National Forest Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex August 29, 2023 – California Incident Management Team 2 is in command of the Six Rivers National Forest (SRF) 2023 Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex, which is now comprised of 20 fires. CIIMT2 has taken command of the Marlow Fire from the Smith River Complex due to its proximity to the Blue Creek 2. Team 2 also took command of two new starts, the Copper Fire, and the Big Foot Fire. Total acreage is estimated at 11,535.4 acres with containment at 20%.
2023 Six Rivers National Forest Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex August 28, 2023 – California Incident Management Team 2 is in command of the Six Rivers National Forest (SRF) 2023 Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex, which is now comprised of 18 fires. CIIMT2 has taken command of the Marlow Fire from the Smith River Complex due to its proximity to the Blue Creek 2. Total acreage is estimated at 10,969.4 acres with containment at 15%. 2023 Six Rivers National Forest Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex August 27, 2023 – California Incident Management Team 2 is in command of the Six Rivers National Forest (SRF) 2023 Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex, which is now comprised of 18 fires. CIIMT2 has taken command of the Marlow Fire from the Smith River Complex due to its proximity to the Blue Creek 2. Total acreage is estimated at 9055.7 acres (excluding Marlow) with containment at 15%. Redwood National and State Parks Area
2023 Six Rivers National Forest Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex August 26, 2023 – California Incident Management Team 2 is in command of the Six Rivers National Forest (SRF) 2023 Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex. Five new fires were added to the complex yesterday, bringing the total to 17. All five fires are suspected to be caused by lightning strikes. Total acreage is estimated at 8758.5 acres with containment at 15%. Redwood National and State Parks Area
August 25, 2023 – California Incident Management Team 2 is in command of the Six Rivers National Forest (SRF) 2023  Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex which includes the following 12 fires. Total estimated acreage for the SRF Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex is 7693.5 acres with 15% containment.

Total estimated acreage for the SRF Lightning Complex and Redwood Lightning Complex is 5,488.2 acres with 15% containment.

2023 Six Rivers National Forest Lightning Complex August 21, 2023 – California Incident Management Team 2 is in command of the Six Rivers National Forest (SRF) 2023 Lightning Complex which includes the Lone Pine, Pearch, Mosquito, Blue Creek, Blue Creek 2, Bluff #1, Let-er-buck, and Iron fires in addition to Redwood National and State Parks wildfires; Lost, Devil and Glenn Fires.
August 22, 2023 – California Incident Management Team 2 is in command of the Six Rivers National Forest (SRF) 2023 Lightning Complex which includes the following 12 fires. Total estimated acreage for the SRF Lightning Complex is 5,441.2 acres. Redwood National and State Parks Area 
August 20, 2023 – California Incident Management Team 2 has assumed command of the Six Rivers National Forest (SRF) 2023 Lightning Complex which includes the Lone Pine, Pearch, Mosquito, Blue Creek, Blue Creek 2, Bluff #1, Let-er-buck in addition to Redwood National and State Parks wildfires; Lost, Devil and Glenn Fires.
