At approximately 8:30pm on August 17th, Texas A & M Forest Service resources were requested to assist with a wildland fire. The lightning- caused fire is burning in Stephens County. The fire is at 30 acres and is 20% contained.
There are no closures, no evacuations, and no structures threatened at this time.
