Today, Cleveland NF fuel crews on the Palomar Ranger District, are burn 20 acres of piles on the North Ramona Fuel Break. Residents and visitors may see smoke from the 78, Ramona and surrounding communities. We ask the public not to call 911 if smoke is seen in the area. This project funding in part by the President's Inflation Reduction Act which is a part of confronting the wildfire crisis. This project is a partnership with Urban Corps who did the cut and pile work, providing training opportunities for urban corps.
Today, Cleveland NF fuel crews on the Trabuco Ranger District, are burn 15 acres of piles at the Firefighter Memorial off SR-74 Ortega Hwy. Residents and visitors may see smoke from Ortega Hwy, the I-15 and surrounding communities. We ask the public not to call 911 if smoke is seen in the area. This project funding in part by the President's Inflation Reduction Act which is a part of confronting the wildfire crisis.
Today, Cleveland NF fuel crews on the Descanso Ranger District, are continuing to burn 60 acres of piles off Bear Valley Rd south of Pine Valley. Residents and visitors may see smoke from Old Hwy 80, the I-8 and surrounding communities. We ask the public not to call 911 if smoke is seen in the area. 
Today, Cleveland NF fuel crews on the Descanso Ranger District, are continuing to burn 10 acres of piles off Bear Valley Rd south of Pine Valley. Residents and visitors may see smoke from Old Hwy 80, the I-8 and surrounding communities. We ask the public not to call 911 if smoke is seen in the area. 
Fuel crews on the DRD conducted a prescribed burn off Bear Valley Rd, accomplishing 11 acres of piles. We want to thank our partners from the Modoc National Forest for assisting with fuel projects over the past few weeks. Their assistance, along with other forests throughout the region, allows us the opportunity to get this important work done. These projects are funded in part by the President's Inflation Reduction Act, which is part of confronting the wildfire crisis.
Today, Cleveland NF fuel crews on the Descanso Ranger District, with assistance from firefighters from the Modoc NF, are burning 30 acres of piles off Bear Valley Rd near Long Valley Rd south of Pine Valley. Residents and visitors may see smoke from the I-8 and surrounding communities. We ask the public not to call 911 if smoke is seen in these areas.

In the last few weeks fuel crews on the Descanso Ranger District conducted prescribed burns in Mount Laguna off Los Huros Rd, accomplishing 80 acres of piles. On the Palomar Ranger District fuel crews burned piles in Jeff Valley completing 40 acres with the assistance from the Modoc, Angeles, and San Bernardino National Forests.  These projects are funded in part by the Presidents Inflation Reduction Act which is a part of confronting the wildfire crisis.
Descanso Ranger District fuel crews continue burning piles in Mount Laguna off Los Hurcos Rd today. Smoke may be visible from Sunrise Hwy, the I-8 and surrounding communities.
