2/14//24 - UPDATE: Due to unfavorable wind conditions, the planned prescribed burn has fallen out of the prescribed parameters, leading firefighters to suspend their operations. They were able to complete 5 acres. Residents and visitors will still see smoke in the areas of 241, I-5, I-15, Riverside, and Orange Counties and surrounding communities. Please DO NOT REPORT. 
#NorthMainRx2/14/24 - The Cleveland National Forest (CNF) Trabuco Ranger District will be conducting a prescribed burn on the North Main Project today from 9:00am to 5:00pm as weather and environmental conditions allow. Residents and visitors will see smoke in the areas of 241, I-5, I-15, Riverside and Orange Counties and surrounding communities. Please DO NOT REPORT. 
2/12/24 - The Cleveland National Forest (CNF) Palomar Ranger District (PRD) is set to initiate prescribed fire preparation on the following projects:Prescribed Fire Preparation:North Ramona Fuel break (map 1) Urban Corp crews continue working on North Ramona West cut/pile work in the crosshatch, area as weather permits.Fry Creek (map 2) – Crews may be working on handline improvements and/or snagging.
2/5/24 - CNF Descanso Ranger District fuel crews are burning piles off Deer Park Rd at Pine Creek Rd today as weather and environmental conditions allow. Residents and visitors may see smoke from Sunrise Hwy, the 79 and surrounding communities. PLEASE DO NOT REPORT.
#JeffValleyRx2/3/24 - The Cleveland National Forest (CNF) Palomar Ranger District will be conducting a prescribed burn on the Jeff Valley Project. There is approximately 8 acres planned. Residents and visitors will see smoke visible throughout the week in the areas of Palomar Mountain, Hwy 79, Hwy 76, and surrounding communities. Please DO NOT REPORT. 
#NorthMainRx 02/03/24 – The Trabuco Ranger District successfully executed a broadcast burn on 78 acres along the North Main Divide Fuel Break last week. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our valued partners, including Orange County Fire Authority, Riverside County Fire (Cal Fire), Anaheim City Fire, Ontario City Fire, Newport Beach Fire, Murieta City Fire, Angeles National Forest, and the Los Padres National Forest, for their unwavering support and dedicated efforts in making this fire operation a success.
